Recently met all the criteria for award of Masters therapeutic Arts Practice @ The MIECAT institute Masters in therapeutic Arts Practice 2020.

Professional status with ANZACATA

I have been interested in Art as medicine for some time now, in particular how sensorimotor based art making can help integrate and repair one’s experience of trauma. As a registered nurse with extensive experience in palliative care, trauma and grief counselling, I have witnessed first hand the benefits of art therapy on mind, body and soul. Indeed, this mode of therapy was fundamental in helping me navigate and understand my own lived experience.

My sincere wish for you and everyone I work with is that you will be able to find a way to make sense of your experience, imagine new possibilities and action them to support your emotional and physiological wellbeing.
